For the 30th anniversary of Dalida's passing, his historical label Barclay wanted to assign to Ibrahim Maalouf an original creation around her repertoire.

Surrounded by his big band and prestigious guests (Alain Souchon, Ben L'Oncle Soul, Melody Gardot, Monica Bellucci, -M-, Izia, Mika, Thomas Dutronc, Rokia Traoré, Arno and Golshifteh Farahani), the Franco-Lebanese trumpet player, composer and arranger went in search of the essence of Dalida's tracks that he carefully selected, to rearrange them in his own way, with humility.
