S3NS tour
Ibrahim Maalouf's 11th studio album to be discovered on stage.
The album is a great opportunity to discover the music of Ibrahim Maalouf, with its white-hot horns, energetic percussion and rock-solid rhythm.
Not exactly jazz, not exactly pop, and sometimes rock. Ibrahim Maalouf invites the public to share his music that is mixed, fresh, nostalgic, but still unclassifiable.
Ibrahim and his 15 musicians will take you on an exciting show that pays homage to Latin culture and Afro-Cuban music...
The S3NS album
"S3NS", Ibrahim Maalouf's 11th studio album, is a new adventure in which the artist immerses himself in an insolent freedom that only independent artists can still afford.
This self-produced album, like all of Ibrahim Maalouf's previous albums, is a logical continuation of his creative craftsmanship, whose Latin American influences are evident from the very first track.
In the past, Ibrahim has had the chance to collaborate with many South American artists: from the Chilean Angel Parra - son of the great poetess Violetta Parra - with whom he recorded a whole album more than 17 years ago, to Lhasa De Sela, the incredible Mexican-American voice who charmed the whole world with "The Living Road". Ibrahim has also crossed the road and collaborated with a number of Cuban artists including Raul Paz, Ernesto Tito Puentes, Omar Sosa, Ibeyi, etc. to name but a few.
On this new album, Ibrahim surrounds himself with guests of great talent, including three virtuoso pianists of the new Cuban generation: Harold Lopez Nussa, Alfredo Rodriguez and Roberto Fonseca, but also saxophonist Irving Acao and violinist and singer Ylilian Canizares.
S3NS therefore appeared as a matter of course. Not really jazz, nor exactly pop, and sometimes rock, Ibrahim Maalouf delivers us a music that is mixed, fresh, nostalgic, but still as unclassifiable...
